Directions & Key: Please write your responses and answers in an email. When you finish, send the message to timbjornstad@me.com. As you take this test, I want you to do the following:

  • RED TEXT: Use red text to answer all of the questions the first time through the test. The first time through, you are not allowed to use your notes. You need to answer purely from your memory. If you don’t know an answer to a question, please write that you don’t know the answer.
  • BLUE TEXT: After you’ve attempted the test for the first time, I want you to change your text color to blue and go through the test again. This time, you may use your notes. All answers that you can provide from your notes need to be written in blue.
  • GREEN TEXT: After you answer all of the questions to the best of your ability using your notes, you may go through a third time and answer the questions to the test while actually listening to the lecture again. SECTION TWO: What You Need To Do:

This is a short answer / short essay section. Please use your notes to write a response showing me that you under what Tim Smith was talking about in the “what you need to do” section of this survival guide. Write it as a short informational essay. All you have to do is demonstrate that you understand the information presented in the audio file.

SECTION THREE: What You Need To Carry:

This section requires a list. Make a list of all of the things Tim Smith says a person needs to carry in order to survive and include a short explanation of why these individual items are so important to carry.
